Medical Necessities and Hands
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about Wyndi. Wyndi is a 44 year old quadruple amputee. In 2019 she underwent nerve decompression surgery on her neck and the back of her head. As a result of this surgery she ended up with a major infection that turned septic. She was put into a medically induced coma where her family was told she had a 5% chance of survival and praise the Lord 13 days later she woke up. Upon waking up her hands and feet died, the blood was pumping to her organs therefore pulling the blood from her extremities and resulting in a quadruple amputation.
It has now been three years and we are wanting to raise money to help Wyndi get a pair of I Limb hands. It’s a pair of hands that all 5 fingers work and move. Insurance will not cover the cost because they deem them “experimental” and we need to help with other medical necessities like an electric wheelchair (her current one is dying). Any donation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
