Medical Procedure to Save Her Life

Kelsey had her procedure done yesterday on 1/11/2023.

The surgery went well and pain is being managed.

Hello Kelsey Burns' family and friends! This message is to let you know that because Kelsey came down with a severe cold, her and surgery has been postpone. We do not yet know what the new date will be, but will advise ASAP.

Hello, my name is Susan Burns and I am the mother of this amazing young woman!

She needs a medical procedure that will extend her life and insurance will not pay for it.

Kelsey currently has the following medical conditions that could be eradicated by doing this surgery:

Borderline Diabetes

Sleep Apnea

High Blood Pressure

Severe Edema in her legs

Acid Reflux

Is on Oxygen Day and Night

Unable to travel over 50 miles without extreme pain

Back Pain Issues

Hormonal Imbalances

Morbidly obese

Kelsey has been struggling her entire life with weight issues. She reached an all time high with her weight last year, and has already lost 60 lbs since so she could be eligible to have this life saving Surgery called a Duodenal Switch.

We are currently selling what ever isn't tied down to fund this procedure!  Her surgery is schedule for Dec. 21, 2022. We are hoping not to have to take out a high interest loan, but we will if we have to!

Kelsey is a kind, amazing young woman who really needs this done. It was suggested to me to start a gofundme account to help with the out of pocket cost.
