Medical & Recovery Expenses for Rhenjay Yamat

Hello everyone!

Our brother, Rhenjay, was hit by a drunk driver last night (12/03/2022) causing him to slam through a wall and total his car entirely. He was found unconscious in his caved in vehicle. He suffered a number of injuries including a puncture to his heart leading him to have heart surgery almost immediately upon his arrival to the hospital. His jaw was also broken, so he is awaiting that surgery in the coming days. His doctor did say that it was a miracle that he survived such an impactful accident.

Rhenjay is currently stable, thankfully, and has been in the Trauma ICU unit for over 24hrs now.

I’ll be honest.. This has been an absolute whirlwind for our family as we scramble to figure out what to do next, but what we do know is that this is going to be quite the hefty medical bill amongst many other expenses to ensure his recovery and health stay in tip top shape. 

Not only that, my brother is a damn good man that also supports three of his children and with being out of commission and unable to work for we don’t know how long.. It’s going to be more than a struggle to make sure bills and all other things are being taken care of.

I’m almost certain Rhenjay wouldn’t want me to do this, but I’ve learned that you’ve got to ask for help when help is needed and right now, it’s absolutely necessary.. So, let’s PLEEEEASE show him what community is all about!
