Medical Relief for Marshal Wherry
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Anthony Liberatore and I am raising money for a good friend named Marshal Wherry. I met Marshal when I started working at Applebee's in Harborcreek. I knew right away that he was a special kid, and someone I would be able to count on every time I was at work.
Recently, Marshal was in a horrible motorcycle accident. Injuries Involving some severe head trauma, brain swelling, breaking all the bones in his face, removal of some skull (for brain swelling), and his wrist. He has since made a lot of progress, and has had a several surgeries. He has some cognitive movement so far, but still is far from out of the woods.
A few things to know about Marshal:
Marshal is a fighter, and he can hear our prayers which makes him fight even harder. He is a loyal friend, and always tries to make everyone around him smile. He's an extremely hard worker and a constant professional. He has a heart of gold and a really bright future ahead of him. He is a ball of positive energy. He is a great friend who always had your back anytime you needed him.
I am trying to raise money to curb the extreme cost of treatment as he will be hospitalized for quite awhile and I along with his friends, family, coworkers and everyone that knows Marshal, needs your help! Anything you can donate would be appreciated so very much. You can find updates on Marshal's progress by following Marshal Wherry Updates on Facebook. Here is a link to the page: Marshal Wherry Updates. I will also try and post updates as quick as possible on this page as well.
Everyday is a blessing and dwelling on trivial things is a waste of time. It takes a split second for reality to come crashing down and for you to realize how important and short life is. Marshal knew this and lived his life this way. He knew that every moment was precious. So if you can take one thing out of reading about this tragic accident is, that nothing in life is guaranteed. Tell people you love that you love them. Hug your kids a little harder tonight. Forgive your friend who made you mad. Don't stress at work. Live and love with all your heart. Don't take the time you have left for granted. If Marshal was able to he would tell you the same thing.
