Medical Relief Fund for Todd

We are starting this fundraiser for Todd who was in a horrific car accident outside of Fort Worth back on March 10, 2021. The jaws of life were used to extract him from his van and he was life-flighted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. The injuries he sustained span from a L1-L5 compression fractures, L4-5 transverse fractures, hip fracture, shattered femur fractures, a broken foot and broken ribs. His first surgery consisted of repairing his shattered femur, where they placed a rod and bolts into his left leg.
Literally, as of yesterday, he had to undergo his second surgery due to his injuries. Todd does not have medical insurance. While he was in the hospital the first time, Todd received the life flight invoice for over $40,000.00. Unfortunately, this exceeds what we can do to help and the medical and rehabilitation bills are already enormous.
Up until now, his Aunt has been helping take care of him, however, going forward he will need specialized care and long term rehabilitation. Todd has a long road to recovery and rehabilitation in front of him, he no longer has a vehicle, he does not have medical insurance and because of his injuries will be unable to work for quite some time.
