Medical seizure alert dog training& adoption fees
Donation protected
We reached our $4,000 goal! Adoption fees are covered! Any continued contributions will continue to go towards dog training! I'd like to thank every donor, person who shared, The Cherokee Ledger-News for sharing, WLJA 101.1 of Jasper for airing the story, and The Alpharetta police department. God bless you all
The beautiful 14 year old in the picture is my Daughter, Savannah. Out of nowhere last December, she started having tonic/clonic Grand Mal seizures; and focal seizures with impaired awareness. Sometimes when she has her Grand Mal seizures, I have to do cpr. I pray no one ever has to do that to their own child. Savannah is now up to 36 seizures since December and on hospital homebound as she can no longer safely attend school.
I normally would never ask for help, but it's for my daughter and she's my whole world.
We have been blessed to find a suitable puppy we can pick up October 25th!! The puppy has had limited obedience training. I need medical and seizure alert training more than I need obedience. (Specifically to bark to alert when a seizure begins and to crawl under her head and neck to protect her) However, the puppy will eventually become a registered working dog and be my Daughter's constant companion! My daughter and I will do as much training in home as we can. As everyone knows, that form of training can be costly; however it is a necessity for my daughters safety and well being!
Any donations or shares would be appreciated more than you all know! We would also appreciate as many prayers as we can! God bless
Best and many thanks,
Sarah and Savannah
