Cancer support for Naomi West

Back in the beginning of November 2017, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I had surgery, and did chemotherapy treatments. I was in remission for a while.  I set up this gofundme then and I was floored and humbled by all the support I received. 

Unfortunately, in October of 2018, it was discovered that the cancer has returned in different places, and I will have to get more treatments.

Recently, I was in the hospital for a week because the mass on my right lung is causing major complications for my asthma and my breathing. 

I have been forced to leave my job, and currently I am far too sick to work. I have been bed bound for a week since I’ve been out of the hospital. And two weeks leading up to it. And I need to continue paying for my chemotherapy, as well as my asthma medication. 

I waited a long time to decide to ask for help again. Many friends have pushed me to do so. I do have insurance this time around, but it only pays a portion of the cost. I’m asking my friends and lovely community to help me in the very difficult time for me. While internet panhandling isn’t my preferred option, I don’t feel as though I have many options. I’m not really ready to want to give up, I sincerely want to push through.
