Medical Support for Rick Wheeler
Donation protected
My name is Ann Marie P., and I have worked with Paula Wheeler for two years. Over that time, she has been a wonderful friend to me, and an outstanding coworker and just an amazing person to know. When I heard about her husband Rick falling ill to a possible case of adrenal cancer with medical bills that have began to already pile up too quickly, I knew I had to help any way I could.
Rick and Paula have been married for twenty-one years, and they have two beautiful children. Zach and his sister Kaitlyn are both still in school, with Kaitlyn being a senior at Maryvale high school and Zach being in his last year of undergraduate studies at Alfred State. They are truly wonderful children with hearts made of gold, always going out of their way to help those around them. Zach is an Eagle Scout of Troop 554, of which Paula has devoted the past ten years of her life being the seated as the Troop Advancement Chair.
Rick is unable to work due to his worsening condition, making the financial strain for the family of four too much to bear. The kids have done everything they can, and Paula has taken on as much of the financial burden she could, working fifty or more hours a week to do what she can for them. With Rick’s upcoming surgery on the 21st of this month, things have just become too much.
This is where we can all come in and help. I want to raise as much money for them as possible, to raise awareness for my friend and her family. With enough support and help from their friends, family and community, we can all help them find a sense of normalcy in these trying times. Everybody deserves a miracle and together we can be that miracle.
