Leg Bypass Surgery for Rogelio Villa
Donation protected
From the organizers:
Sheryl Berardinelli - family friend
I have known the Villa family for over 30 years. JM and Roselynn Jane are two of my closest friends and have known them since elementary school. Unfortunately, their dad, Rogelio, is in need of urgent medical attention. He requires a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery followed by a leg bypass to avoid amputation.
John Villa - son
On February 4, our father, Rogelio experienced a heart attack in the early hours of the morning. He was treated with medication and underwent coronary angiography, which revealed that his right vein is completely blocked, the obtuse marginal is also 100% blocked, and the LAD artery is 70-80% blocked. As a result, his doctors have advised that a CABG surgery is the best course of action.
After seeking multiple opinions from different doctors and with the support of prayers, it has been decided that Rogelio will undergo the CABG surgery. The procedure is scheduled to take place sometime between February 13 or 14, 2024.
Rogelio's loving wife, Josephine, has been by his side throughout this journey, praying for his healing and a successful surgery. She has already used a significant portion of their life savings to cover the costs of a previous brain tumor surgery for Rogelio. However, their expenses continue to grow, including the extended hospital stay, mounting medical bills, the cost of the upcoming surgeries, long-term rehabilitation, and future medical procedures for Rogelio's legs, as well as ongoing therapies and medical care.
Josephine and Rogelio are retired senior citizens who rely solely on their savings to support themselves. Unfortunately, there is no medical insurance or Medicare available for senior citizens in the Philippines.
In light of these circumstances, I kindly ask for your consideration in making a donation to support Rogelio and his family. Your contribution would be a tangible way to show your love and care during this challenging time.
The road ahead will be long, and the financial burdens are substantial. Any assistance, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated and deeply needed.
Thank you and God Bless
