Medical Transportation for Elizabeth

Hello, my name is Crystal Mora and I created this fundraiser to help with the cost to Medically transport my mother Elizabeth Hardesty (61) from a Nursing Home in California to Texas where she can get the medical care she needs and be close to myself and the rest of our family. She first entered the Hospital in September 2021 after she was placed in ICU on a ventilator. Once the ventilator was removed and she was well enough to leave the hospital she was placed in a Skilled Nursing Facility to get Physical Therapy to get stronger and start walking again, however that did not happen due to several issues with her insurance, the facilities she stayed at and as well as her health. She has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 1/2 years and has been put on a ventilator 7 times since then so she has lost the strength to be able to get out of bed, walk or even stand and is now bed bound. Her insurance is through the state of CA (Medicaid) so she is limited to certain Nursing Facilities that are under staffed and not able to provide the best medical care possible. We are asking for any donations, assistance or recommendations to be able to transport her safely to Texas through a Medical Transportation company. Her health is deteriorating in California and we want to be able to bring her home to Texas and be able to have her seen and cared for by Dr.'s here.
