Medical & Travel Expenses for Jonathans Scoliosis

Hello!

Thank you for your interest and prayers for Jonathan and the Dumas family during this difficult season.

Jonathan was diagnosed with moderate scoliosis in November 2021. They have been treating him locally for the last year with consistent physical therapy. However, recent X-rays now show his condition has developed into a very severe case. It has become painful for him as he now has two curves in his spine of over 55 degrees.

There is a clinic located in California, the only one they have found that will be able to help him, but it is out of network for their insurance. Treatment will be a long and complicated process happening over the next 3-4 years. The clinic will provide intense therapy and custom equipment tailor made for Jonathan’s specific needs. They will also need to travel 4 times annually for a week of treatments and doctor visits until he is released from the program.

They were told to expect around $150,000 in expenses.

Joseph and Bethany are a single income family. Bethany faithfully homeschools their 5 children.

They are fully trusting the Lord and know He is in complete control.

As their friends and family, we want to come along side them and support them as much as possible. The emotional, physical, and financial strain is tremendous. Any amount will help. ♥️
