Medical Travel Expenses For Leland

Hi, My name is Dwain Morris. First, let me introduce my grandson, Leland. He is the sweetest 10 yr old boy who struggles with many challenges due to a rare genetic condition called MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome. Leland is the strongest warrior who has overcome every struggle thrown his way.

This condition is not widely known. As a result, Leland's local doctors have had to contact the leading experts and researcher's who discovered, study, and specialize in treating MeCP2 individuals to gain knowledge on many occasions. Leland has been referred to these experts to ensure he gets the best-individualized care possible.

Leland has appointments scheduled at Texas Children's Hospital in the coming weeks.

Leland requires 24hr care, and his health status can change within minutes. My daughter, Leesha commits herself and time to care for all of Leland's needs at home. This trip will be very costly for their one-income family. Expenses will include airline tickets, hotel stay, car rental, gas, food, etc for the week-long stay.
