Medical Trips to Halifax & Moncton

Hi, my name is Richard, my wife Brenda is legally blind. She has to have two major surgeries - one on her eyes and the other on her jaw and gums. She has two types of glaucoma plus cataracts and there is the possibility of losing what eyesight she has left. Her eye specialist (Dr. Smrz) called and told her she will be going to the Victoria General in Halifax for her eye surgeries and is just waiting to find out the date which should be relatively soon.

Her 2nd surgery will be in Moncton by Dental Surgeon Dr. Al-Katib in April or May to have a cyst removed from her jaw, two wisdom teeth removed from her gums/jaw and get the rest of her teeth out. There is the possibility of the jaw fracturing during surgery.

I am looking for funds to help pay for the two trips and accommodations. Every donation will be deeply appreciated. We have currently raised $470 so far.
