Medical-Financial Help for our Dad (Jay Peery)

Hey everyone, I am Jay’s daughter and I have finally come to the conclusion that this was something necessary to do in order to help my Dad. My Dad has been battling some medical issues for quiet some time now and we still can’t get any answers as to what is going on with him. We have a been on an 8 month journey trying to figure out what is going on. Things started with him losing ability to use his right hand and arm, and shortly after his right leg and foot. He has had multiple MRIs, EMGs, has done physical therapy, aqua therapy, and has been having back injections. He is currently under the care of a neurologist to have further testing done. All the doctors have diagnosed him with is spinal stenosis and arthritis in his back. There's more going on, but we are still trying to get answers on what is happening.

His life has forever changed. He was still working, and running his business of over 40 years up until all of these things started happening. He is completely unable to work and has zero employment income coming in at this time. He has insurance, but there are still outstanding medical bills coming in, and more Dr visits with very high co-pays with each visit. On top of all of this, his house was completely flooded due to hurricane Ian which caused significant damage to his home. He is currently living alone, and it is becoming very difficult for him to do things on his own. While we await insurance money, we are trying to do repairs and put his home back together so that we may put it on the market for sale. He will no longer be able to live on his own.

It took me a month to ask for help, but we just can't do it all on our own anymore. He is struggling just to keep bills paid and food on the table. This has all taken a toll on our family, not only emotionally as we see our Dad’s health suffer, but also financially… Nothing is too small and would be greatly appreciated just to help him get through this very difficult time…Thank you in advance for your love, prayers, support and donation.
