Mediterra Restaurant Group Employee Relief Fund

Mediterra Restaurant Group is small family owned chain of restaurants in downtown Chicago. Our wonderful guests and every one of our dedicated employees are all part of one big family at Mediterra. Two weeks ago, we could have never imagined where we would be today. Covid 19 has taken us all by surprise and left us looking for ways to fight for the survival of our business and our team members. We fully support the difficult decisions our State and City leaders had to make in order to keep us all safer. However, these decisions have also left us in an unimaginable position. We have gone from thinking this would be a short shutdown to now realizing there is actually no known timeline. As of now we don't know when we can reopen our doors to guests, when we can expect to see relief from government programs, and we don't know how much assistance we will actually receive. 

As our bills pile up with our doors closed, our number one priority is still the well being of our team members and their families that are currently without income. We are doing everything in our power to provide for our team members while trying to maintain our leases so that they all have a job to come back to as soon as possible. It's a very difficult task so we would appreciate your help in providing financial support and stability to our wonderful team members in this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar truly counts.
