Joseph (Joe) V. Medrano
Our hearts are broken as we mourn the tragic loss of Joe Medrano (Age 40, 1980-2020). As hard as it is to say, on Sunday, the 26th of July 2020, Joe was taken too soon from his beautiful wife Alicia and their five young children, ages 2-11. Words alone cannot begin to describe this terrible loss. We are all concerned about what comes next for his family.
Joe was not only a loving husband and father, but also a son, brother, and a true friend to many - he had a great way of bringing people together. Joe was an advocate for Veterans’ care and served his country bravely as a United States Marine. He had a large caring heart and was also the one of the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fans you could ever meet.
While we all have many great and wonderful memories about Joe, one of the most meaningful comes from his wife, Alicia. She and Joe told each other from the beginning of their marriage that if they would always stick together, regardless of the situation, they would come out on top. They did this throughout their relationship.
Joe was selfless, someone who put others before himself and providing for his family was his goal in life. He was a guiding light to each of his children and wanted to afford them every opportunity to be successful in life. Sadly, he will not have that chance now.
As his family and friends, we have an opportunity to make this happen for him. At this difficult time, we need your generosity. Please consider making a donation to honor Joe’s memory, and to aid and support his family. We know that there is nothing we can do to replace the father his children have lost, but we can provide a small measure of security and assurance during this time.
The proceeds of this GoFundMe page will help alleviate some of the financial pressure during this time of mourning and provide some much needed short-term (and possibly long-term) help to his family. Any and all contributions will help and are greatly appreciated while his family focuses on healing and celebrating his life. This is a chance to care for Joe’s family... almost as much as he would have.
Thank you for all of your kind words, love and support. Please continue to recall the many stories of Joe’s life; they are all constant reminders that will keep his memory alive.
Thank you,
