Megan and Roger’s House Fire
Donation protected
As many of you may know, a family in the West Sechelt community has lost their home and belongings in a devastating fire on February 21st, 2025. Megan and Roger and their 3 children have been displaced after their home was destroyed and contents damaged by the fire.
Fortunately, the family is safe. At this time, however, the extent of damage is unknown but it is likely everything that they owned is now lost.
Many members of the community have reached out asking how they can help. Thank you.
We hope to ease some of the pain of this devastating loss by creating this fundraiser.
Kindly consider helping this family during this difficult and devastating time.
Megan, a mother of 2 girls, Rylee and Haley, is known and loved by many. As a SD#46 Kindergarten teacher in Robert’s Creek, she is so incredibly giving, caring and gracious. She is a loving and hard working mother who is always doing her best to support her family.
Roger works as a volunteer firefighter with the Sechelt Fire Department and for Heidelberg. He is a dedicated and loving father to his own 2 children.
For the next 1-2 years, Megan and Roger will face the challenge of finding temporary housing and rebuilding their lives while navigating the loss of their home and all their personal belongings. Please help Megan and Roger with the same compassion, care and generosity that they give to our own community here on the Sunshine Coast.
Whether you can contribute financially, share this fundraiser, offer donations of clothing and household items, or words of support, we know they would appreciate any help you can provide.
