Megan Galloway-Cole

Our Astoria community is mourning with the news of the passing of our friend and neighbor Megan Galloway-Cole. We are raising funds to support Megan's wife, Mackenzie, families and their closest friends with the organization of a celebration of life ceremony, as well as time to grieve and cover living expenses.

Update: Thank you so much for the outpouring of kindnesses and desire to help. At this time Mackenzie as well as her and Megan's families are not sure how much the medical bills will amount to yet, so we will keep fundraising for them with an increased goal.

"With the deepest grief, I share that on November 17, 2023, Megan Galloway-Cole unexpectedly and suddenly left us all. The most loyal and compassionate wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, her passing is a painful shock and impossible to comprehend.

In her passing, as was the case in our marriage, I was with Megan the entire time, and she was never alone. She lived the fullest possible 28 years, and her passion for life was felt by every single person lucky enough to ever be in her presence.

A celebration of her life is currently being planned for Saturday, December 2 at 2:00-6:00pm in Astoria, New York at The Ditty. We welcome all who loved Megan to gather and honor her."
