Megan get her LPN

Hi! I'm megan and I'm a student at Fortis college in Norfolk. I'm chasing my dream of becoming a nurse and could use your help along the way. This is the closest college that accepted me to their program. It is approximately an hour and forty five minute to drive there. I have to cross the ccbt each time. Travel expenses arent light. I am trying to get ahead on this because once I start clinicals I will have to cut back at work. Losing hours means I'm losing money that's meant for ALL bills.... But I'm most concerned about school and keeping it affordable so I can continue to go. My travel expenses per week are about 150 dollars (gas and tolls), and my tuition is 150/month.

I have hit a point in my life where I'm tired of struggling to make ends meet. I also know that God always provides and this is what I'm being called to do. I know this advancement of my career will help me gain financial stability I have been seeking for a long time. And I get to help others in my journey which is a huge bonus. I love nursing. I love my clients/residents. Getting an education and being the best nurse I can be will also help my clients. It will provide a more stable future for my family and help me gain the knowledge I need to help when my family members need me. I have a father in law that has been having some health concerns and a mother who has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma and a brother with CP. When it comes down to it I would want to take care of each of them when the time comes. Knowing the medical terminology, drug doses, vitals, wound care , knowing the warning signs and symptoms of something bigger happening inside ECT... Will help me to help them. This degree is so very important to me. I want to help others and be the best nurse I can be. Every little bit counts. Money raised will be used towards:
