We are deeply devastated to share the sudden loss of Megan Marie Christensen. She died tragically in a car accident on March 30, 2023 at the age of 29.
Processing the loss of her life so unexpectedly and at such a young age is nearly incomprehensible. In efforts to help the family we have started this account in to lessen the family’s burden as they try to focus on grieving and healing.

We wanted to share a little bit about our sweet girl. Growing up with her family and friends she was known as “little one” or “Lady Megan”. She ran around in her bathing suit and red horse boots. From a young age she loved being outside. The hotter the weather the better. She loved being at the lake or just in the backyard hanging out and making up games.. as she got older you’d find her hanging outside or riding her motorcycle or street bike. Megan was a free spirited, fun love adventurer who didn’t mind getting dirty and loved to have fun.

She loved her friends and family with a fierceness and loyalty that was truly unique. She always stood up for the ones she loved. She was hot headed but also so very kind. You could call her anytime and she would be there for what you needed. She might cuss you out the whole time, but she would be there. She had a gift of connecting with others and was beloved by many. She loved to cook and did so often with her grandma and dad.

She had a deep love and connection to animals. She especially loved working with dogs and her time working at the wildlife hospital. She was incredibly creative and loved to paint and draw and had a beautiful imagination.

Megan had recently become an Aunt to her 2 little nephews. Before she died she had spent everyday with either of her nephews and was so excited to teach them to swim, take them to the lake, make mud pies and to take them exploring for frogs. She spent time feeding them her favorite snacks and causing trouble with them. Being an aunt brought her so much joy. She would light up when she was around them.

Megan is missed by her friends and all of her family daily. Many in her life have memories of her love of music, her contagious laughter, witty and sarcastic sense of humor, her love and her loyalty.
She left us far too soon and life is a lot tougher without her.
