Megan Stanski

Hello to all, My name is Carrie Spangler, I am a good friend of Megan Stanski who was recently diagnosed with Guillain barré syndrome which is an inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. GBS is a rapid on set of numbness,weakness, and paralysis of the legs,arms, breathing muscles, throat,face and voice, that is aggressive but potentially curable. To receive this news Megan was devastated. Megan is an RN who has devoted her life to helping those who are sick and in pain. She has two dog’s and a horse that she board’s, Megan is an out going person who loves her dog’s and her horse that she rides and camps with on her day’s off work. She is a very independent person and always on the go. But with GBS Megan has a long road to recovery ahead of her she is still in Hershey Hospital we’re she will be receiving treatment and physical therapy. Megan is unable to work at this time, her family and I ask if you are able to donate to Megan and help us raise money that will be going to relieve the financial burden over the course of the next few months.
