The Megan Marie Teague Memorial Cheerleading Scholarship is to be presented annually to a senior
cheerleader who exemplifies leadership, dedication, and service.
Megan graduated from Birdville High School in May 2011. During her time at BHS, she was active in
cheerleading, both Varsity school cheer and All-Star cheer. She was a dedicated student, and friend to
all she encountered — Lifting a room with her bubbly, warm and playful spirit.
After high school, Megan attended Weatherford College on a cheerleading scholarship and continued
her endeavors in both school and competitive cheer. She was a decorated competitive cheerleader,
earning many awards and her final NCA Jacket on the Champion Cheer All-Stars International Open
Level 6 team, Phoenix.
Megan will best be remembered for her lively personality. She loved life, and lived with conviction, intensity
and fearlessness. She was outgoing, caring and loving, and a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt
and friend.
