Megan vs Cancer

My name is Matthew Harrison and I am fundraising for my sister, Megan (Harrison) Coy. On Thursday, Feb 24th, she began the first of many rounds of chemotherapy for invasive ductal carcinoma, to be followed by surgeries and radiation treatment.

As Megan is only 35 and in excellent health and has no known family history of breast cancer, this has come as a complete and profound shock. I know that Megan is proud, strong, and independent, but with the recent loss of our father, Byron Harrison, as well as the financial strain of the pandemic as many others have experienced, the medical costs are a significant burden.

The last thing we want is for Megan to worry about financial issues, so anything given to ease this stress is much appreciated. We want all her energy focused on her recovery and her toddler son, Kingston. All funds will be directed towards current medical costs and upcoming surgical procedures such as a lumpectomy and partial reconstruction plus chemotherapy-induced needs (wig, fluid infusions, prescription medication, etc.) and childcare expenses.
