Megan Willcox Memorial Donation to Magdalen House
Donation protected
Megan Willcox passed away at the age of 34 on December 27th, 2022 due to alcoholic liver cirrhosis. Megan was much more than her disease — she was a bright, outgoing, and funny woman. Megan was a daughter, a big sister, a cousin, an aunt, a dog mom, and a friend to many. This loss is being grieved by her family, friends, the sober community, and beyond. Although she may not be with us anymore, her life made a lasting impact on so many so it only makes sense that we honor her by acknowledging the community that was such an important part of her life.
Please consider making a monetary donation in Megan’s honor to the Magdalen House in Dallas, a nonprofit that helps young women achieve sobriety and sustain recovery from alcoholism free of charge. In battling the disease of alcoholism, Megan had gone through the program here and it was a very special place to her. It was at Magdalen House that she knew she had a community of support and fellowship that she could rely on in troubling times. All proceeds will be donated to Magdalen House, where a rose bush and a plaque will be set up in Megan’s name and remaining funds will be donated for any supplies that may be needed to support the women who stay there. Any and all donations are much appreciated. Thank you
