Megan's Chiropractic Service Trip to Costa Rica
Dear friends and family,
Hey, thanks for stopping by! As many of you know by now, two years ago I left New Brunswick and moved to the San Fransisco Bay Area to pursue my dream of becoming a chiropractor.
I am very excited to announce that I have been accepted to attend my very first chiropractic service trip! I'll be heading down to Costa Rica this December with my table on my back, open hands and an open heart.
I will be helping to serve alongside two incredibly inspiring, intelligent and talented doctors, Dr. Tamara MacIntyre and and Dr. Monique Andrews to bring free care to the people of Costa Rica. My reciprocal Nikki and I after completing our very first adjustments in the Life West Health Center! August 2019.
This is an all-women's trip, and one of the most beautiful gifts I've received during my time in California is the outstanding growth, confidence and connectedness that comes from the nurturing environment created when women come together and support each other. Something truly magical happens in this space. Every time. Nikau: April 2018. My first women's adjusting seminar in with this awesome tribe!
This service trip is an opportunity for me to use the knowledge and skills that I've learned in the last 26 months to help others. It is also an immense opportunity to learn and grow as a doctor and a human.
I've learned so much in the past two years about the human body and its incredible, innate ability to heal itself. I simply can't wait to share the gift of chiropractic with the people of Costa Rica. Me with Dr. Arno Burnier, founder of MLS (Mastery Love and Service) Chiropractic Seminars in Paris, France, October 2018.
Of course, we all know money is not exactly... abundant... while one is attending grad school, particularly if they happen to be living in the Bay Area to do so... :D. If anyone reading this has the capacity to help support my trip through monetary donation (of any amount!) I would be very grateful. Every little bit counts. Hugs, love and words of support are also greatly appreciated!
As I enter my last year of chiropractic college, I can't help but feel incredibly humbled. Chiropractic is so big and something I feel truly passionate about. I am so grateful for the path I've taken and the all support I've received along the way.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk,
Megan
