Megan's Study Abroad in India
About
a two years ago, my oldest daughter, Megan, fell in love with all
things India. She decided that what she really wanted to do was
experience this amazing country first hand, and began (at age 14)
working toward that goal. She did some digging and discovered that Rotary Youth Exchange
is the program that best suits her. The local Rotary is incredibly
supportive, and has done much to help raise money, and connect her with Rotarians in India. Then, she worked towards graduating h early (which she will in May, with
a 4.0 GPA). Now: the final hurdle to her spending a school year with a
family in New Delhi is raising the money (approximately half) so she can
go.
