Megan’s battle with leukemia!
Megan was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia after battling a very long year of health complications. I’m sure everyone knows that Megan is not one to ask for help but life does not stop for cancer. She will be admitted this week for a lengthy amount of time in order to complete chemotherapy and then she will also need additional medical procedures in order to receive a bone marrow transplant. She will still have things that need to be paid for, her husband will need to be able to eat while he is in the hospital with her, she will still need to have monetary support in order to be able to focus solely on the fight for her life.
Megan, Lizzy, and I have been friends for over17 years now and in the time that we have been friends I have seen her make a
difference in so many peoples lives. She genuinely cares about those who are apart of her
her life and it’s time for us to step up and be
be the difference in her life♥️
Lizzy and I were brainstorming some ideas onhow we can help aide in this time of need for her and we are going to host a few “baked for bacon”(a nickname from when we were kids for Megan) bake sales! All proceeds will go to help her while she recovers. If you’d like to
host or attend one let me know! I will keep everyone updated on dates and locations in the event that you would like to attend.
Once again, cancer waits for no one.. and
Megan is a fighter. Let’s do everything we canto help her kick cancers butt!
