Meghan & Peter's Christmas Miracle
Donation protected
With less than two weeks before Christmas, Peter and Meghan's vehicle was stolen from their home in Fairview. Not only did they lose their car, but also car seats, their stroller, and toys for their two year old son and seven week old daughter.
Any new parent can relate to this situation. You get home from running errands, your newborn baby is sick and screaming, and you're truly in survival mode. During the chaos of it all, you leave your keys behind in the car. The next morning you wake up and look out the window... and your car is gone.
Meghan and Peter had purchased the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe after a "once in a lifetime bonus" from work, and made the decision to cancel theft insurance in an attempt to save as much money as possible before welcoming their second child.
Like so many of us, they simply can't stretch their already lean budget any further. The idea of a monthly car payment, let alone finding a way to put gifts under the tree, is out of the question. Even finding the cash to purchase a used stroller from Marketplace was difficult.
After this article was published in SaltWire on Monday, December 18th, the couple has been overwhelmed with support. If are able to help Meghan and Peter this Christmas, please considering contributing to this GoFundMe. It would mean the world to this young family struggling to make ends meet. Thank you for your consideration.
