Megs Skydive for Chestnut Tree House

Hello!

For my birthday, my two incredibly thoughtful best friends bought me a skydive !!

In January 2020, my grandad passed away after complications following an open heart surgery. Prior to the surgery our family had discussed all doing a skydive in hopes to break some form of world record… my grandad wanted to do a skydive with us all, if all went well with his surgery.

In October 2019, he went into theatre and was sedated for a few days after his op. He came around, looked at my cousin and I and the very first thing he mouthed to us was, “I’m doing that skydive”.

Sadly, he passed away after 3 months of putting up an incredible fight in intensive care.

Since then, I have wanted to do a skydive for him but never gotten around to it - until now and I finally can on 20th April thanks to Morgan & Darbie!

He will be doing it with me, as we are taking a small scoop of his ashes up with me whilst wearing his pink jumper so he can finally do his skydive too!

My grandad also raised money for Chestnut Tree House children hospice in an abseil, a year prior to his surgery. What a man at 80 years old ay!

So I would absolutely love to see if I can raise a bit of money for Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice too, whilst plummeting 15,000 feet lol.

The work they do is incredible, the way they look after the children, parent and their families there is just magnificent and truly inspiring.

Any donations would be eternally appreciated. ❤️
