Mehegan Family Support

Co-Workers and Friends are reaching out for Richard and Jen Mehegan:

Their story starts with a Happy Marriage, Seven (7) Adopted Kids age 3 to 18 and at least 15 years of trying to have a baby.  Nine Months ago Friends and Family were told their exciting news, A Baby is on the way!  Fast forward to several weeks ago Richard was diagnosed with an Aneurysm on his main heart valve.  Jen gave Birth on March 2 to a beautiful baby boy named Aden.  He was born several weeks early and had Jaundice, was on oxygen and antibiotics for infection.  He is now home and doing well.  Jen went home after giving birth for the first time and was doing well but then started to feel sick.  She was diagnosed with an infection and is now in the hospital experiencing paralysis on her left side.  She can’t walk and is slated to be in the hospital away from her new born baby for at least the next 10 days.  Richards Father Tom whom lives with Richard and Jen is scheduled for Triple Bypass Surgery on Monday and has been unable to help out during this difficult time due to his health.  Richard started tests for his heart aneurysm this week.  He is scheduled to meet with his surgeon sometime this week to see how they will be proceeding with his care.  Richard has been unable to work Full Time as he is caring for his newborn baby and children while his wife is in the hospital.  As his Co-workers and Friends we are reaching out for your kindness to help them survive this difficult time in their lives.  Richard and Jen are amazing people adopting 7 wonderful kids whom they cherish.  We are praying for their entire family and hope they are reunited soon. 

 

We are reaching out to all that can help financially support this amazing family.  Medical bills, insurance deductibles, mortgage, food, gas, water, etc., etc. pile up quick and we hope to take some stress off their shoulders.  This is not easy to ask as Richard and Jen strive to do it all themselves.  We want to show them how much we all love and care for them and their family.  Please reach into your hearts and wallets and donate what you can.
