Help a black farmer continue to farm.

Peace family, My name is Emanuel. I am a black farmer in North Carolina. I am looking for community support to fulfill a life long personal dream, of owning land. Having land will allow me to continue to support those around me.
Sovereignty has been my biggest challenge. I am at the tail end of a 4 year lease purchase agreement and have explored the traditional routes of purchasing without success. At this point I see no option of being able to stay where I am.
Producing on the land allows me to connect with the community around me by providing food, camping experiences, farm tours, workshops, handyman services and special events.
Being barefoot on the land is when I am at my best. Imagine the feel of moist crumbly soil between your toes; I know pure magic right? I feel like I have always been one with the earth. Like entering a childhood home, further it's that place you visited in a dream, you can almost remember, if only someone would recount a memory.
On the land I surrender myself to the ancestors, I am guided in a body/soul connection preforming tasks in ways that I was not taught, call it intuition, call it common sense...all I know is it feels right. I am listening, learning, and becoming.
I purchased land with Go fund me funds. I was unable to get an urban agriculture permit. I’m told almost other factors the land was more valued as wildlife habitat than to be cleared and used for vegetable production. I have sense moved onto a leased plot of land until a more suitable location can be found.
I am grateful for any support you can extend. Please share this campaign on your social media and word of mouth to get this campaign out.
Thank you for your kind support.
