Melanie Boykin Medical Expenses

Melanie is a very good friend of mine.  She is a generally healthy, vibrant gal full of energy.  On December 3, 2018 she was feeling weak and went by ambulance to the ER in Grand Island.  It was discovered that she had blood clots in her lungs and behind her knee.    While trying to dissolve the clots her heart stopped twice.  She was put on a ventilator and had not been conscious until just the last couple of days (Dec 30).   On December 4th she was taken to Omaha and has been in ICU there.   She has been receiving dialysis every other day.  She is slowly coming back to us.  She is breathing on her own some, is responding to some commands and her kidneys are starting to wake up.  She has now been in ICU for 4 weeks.  As you can imagine, the medical bills and traveling cost for her family is mounting.   Please consider donating to help relieve some of this burden for Melanie and her family.  Thank you!
