Melanie Garcia and her family

On Wednesday night, September 1st, 2021, We were all devastated by the tragic news of the sudden loss of Robert Garcia.

Bob was truly a loving, kind hearted and devoted family man who would do absolutely anything for anyone especially his wife and children. Bob will forever be known as an extraordinary Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, cousin, friend to many who were truly blessed to have known him. He served 25 dedicated years for the Toledo police department. He is survived by his amazing wife Melanie and their 3 children Reyes, Robert, and Mikayla.

He was a true Patriot and was very proud of his son Reye’s decision to join the armed forces to defend his country.

Bobby was also a good daddy to his fur babies, anyone who knew Bobby knew he loved his dogs and they loved him.

Bobby loved his Tia Rosita and she will miss him dearly.  Bobby will always be in her heart and she loves him very much.

The purpose of this fund is to help alleviate immediate and future expenses for the Garcia family and provide for their children for major expenses such as future care and education. Although Melanie is a very strong woman and would never ask for any type of charity, Bob would have wanted nothing more than to make sure his family was taken care of in his absence. This is just a fraction of the memorial that Bob deserves, but it’s a start to help ease the burden of the trials and tribulations that are sure to come in his absence.

On a side note: Please rest assure that all proceeds will be going directly to Melanie despite what it says about the proceeds going to me, unfortunately there is no way to correct that misnomer, that’s just the way gofundme words it..
