It is with a very heavy heart to share the news that our beloved dancing queen Melanie Heneghan (26) suddenly passed away on January 29th, 2023. Heaven certainly has gained another angel and she will be greatly missed by all. Melanie was a fun-loving, charismatic person who adored her Mother (Marilyn) and Father (Johnathan) unconditionally. In return, Marilyn and Johnathan have given Melanie all the love and care that any daughter could ever ask for, and for that, we are all so very thankful and it certainly did not go unnoticed. She was truly blessed to have such loving parents by her side every waking moment, day in and day out. Our sweet angel was heavily involved in church and the Special Olympics where she competed in numerous races including bowling, swimming, and track. In these events, she won a magnitude of gold medals and made her way to compete in several state championships. Melanie also enjoyed watching her dad's band play where she could dance the night away. She would never turn down to opportunity to hangout with friends, bowling, trips to the movies, attending family parties, taking selfies, hugs, and most importantly, church. We are so proud of your lifelong accomplishments, Melanie and we love you to the moon and back. Your smile, laughter and sweet charm will be missed so greatly. Thank you Johnathan and Marilyn for giving your Melanie the best life a daughter could ask for. We love you!
We hope this message finds you well. We are asking friends and family who had the opportunity to know Melanie if they could help donate towards her memorial services to lighten the financial responsibility on John and Marilyn.
