Melanie "Ling Ling" Funeral

Melanie "Ling Ling" Benitez was born March 29th 1991. Ling attended high school at Lodi High School in Lodi, California before moving to Texas attending both Lewisville High School and later Denton Guyer High School where she graduated from in 2009. Ling was extremely sweet and made a lot friends where ever she went. As kids she always hung out with her twin sister Melody, brother Keith, little brother J.R. and cousins Gary and Jeremy.  They all loved to play video games, hangout with friends, go to the mall, and even talk about which boys were cute like your typical teenage girl lol and many many more things.  Fast forward to present day. Sadly our beloved Ling Ling's life was taken from this world in a selfish manner when she was shot by her boyfriend multiple times outside the neighborhood she was living in Alpine, California around 2pm in broad daylight and was left there for the police to find.

Ling Ling meant the world to everyone she met or knew including her family most of all, her friends, current and former coworkers, and people she met in public places in her everyday life due to her never ending smile and cheerful happy personality.

Due to this sudden shock and news, Melanie's "Ling Ling" mother and brother are having to leave their jobs in Alaska and their main sources of income as a result and travel to California to plan a proper funeral for her. This go fund me will 100% go to the cost of the funeral services needed to provide Ling a peaceful send off and resting for her to make her way to a peaceful afterlife. Any contribution will help and will be much appreciated by the family! The family is planning to have the funeral as soon as possible in respect of the body of Ling. Please share this post.
