Melanie Stafford Memorial

Melanie Stafford passed away about a week ago. We're all grieving her loss, celebrating her life, and grateful for the gifts she gave us all.

She was a beloved member of our worldwide group, Beginners Guide to Growing Sprouts & Microgreens. A moderator of our group, Melanie showed vigilance toward learning and sharing about her sprouts/micros world. She was always ready to step in and support others with kind words of encouragement and solutions to ensure everyone's success.

Her posts asked questions in such a way and with professional-looking photography that she stimulated participation, enthusiasm and learning among fellow members.

She was a teacher to us all. We'd learn as she reached out to discover answers for her health, and we'd all have more food security. Melanie supported everyone who came to our group looking for help. She was kind, helpful and nurturing to all our members and always had good things to say.

We will feel her presence for years to come in our group and around the globe. And her gifts shared freely with us all will live on and be passed along perpetually.

I know that now, somewhere in the Beyond, she's teaching folks to grow sprouts and micros, making sure that when we get there, there will be plenty of resources to help us transition!

We, her friends at Beginners Guide to Growing Sprouts & Microgreens, have set up this Go Fund Me account to support her family. Their intense loss is further exacerbated by the financial losses incurred by the enormous medical bills they encountered along the way. We think this is a real cause for need and support.
