Our beloved mother, Melanie B. (Calvin) Sutter, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Mel was a teacher for 29 years at Montpelier Exempted Village Schools in Montpelier, Ohio. She dedicated her life to educating others and we wanted to create a way for her legacy to live on.
The family has created the Live Like Mel Foundation to continue her legacy. We plan to provide an annual awards that will be established in Melanie's name to assist current and future educators.
Please note that we have achieved our $10,000 goal since we have received numerous contributions outside of this GoFundMe page. However we will keep this page open for those that would like to continue to contribute until we set up a website where annual contributions will be accepted.
