Hey guys!
For those of you that don't know, my name is Melanie Newman. I am a freelance baseball reporter and substitute teacher in metro Atlanta.
Since the age of 15, I have competed in beauty pageants, Miss Georgia Teen USA was my first. In 2013 I won the title of Miss USA Petite, serving my year as queen and competing for Miss Universe Petite in 2014. Following my reign, I stepped away from pageants to focus on my career.
This year, in accordance with age restrictions, is my last year of eligibility in the Miss USA system. Pageants have taught and given me so much, especially as a communications professional. It has been my dream to return one last time for a chance at the job of Miss Georgia USA, where my pageant life all began.
With the encouragement of friends and family, I have made the decision to compete one last time. Due to my current salary and financial obligations, I cannot afford to compete without help!
You will see a graphic breakdown of funds. I can provide an even more detailed list upon request. The first 12 sponsors receive advertisement in the official Miss Georgia USA progra; all sponsors receive advertising and endorsement on social media and other chosen platforms.
BUSINESS sponsors: your sponsorship not only includes advertising and endorsement but is also tax deductible!
The larger the sponsorship, the less sponsors required and the more exclusive your partnership becomes!
The initial $300 is needed right away for registration purposes and all funds are ideally needed by October 15, 2016.
Please help me reach the Miss Georgia USA stage one last time!
