Melanie, a loving mother of two young children, recently received a devastating stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis. To compound the distressing news, the cancer has also spread to her lymph nodes, increasing the urgency and complexity of her treatment.

Melanie has already undergone two surgeries to remove some of the cancer, displaying her unwavering strength and determination. However, her journey towards recovery is far from over. To give herself the best chance of overcoming this life-threatening disease, she now faces six gruelling months of aggressive chemotherapy, followed by radiation therapy and further major surgery.

While Melanie is fighting tirelessly for her life, she is also confronted with the financial strain of single-handedly raising her two young children. The necessity of taking time off work for medical treatments and recovery further exacerbates the financial burden she faces.
