Melanie’s Bile Duct Cancer Fund

I can’t believe I’m writing this. I have a rare type of cancer. Some of you may remember me talking about some stomach troubles which lead to finding a mass on my liver which lead to a biopsy. Last month, that biopsy revealed it was a metastatic tumor. More testing revealed I have Stage 2 Bile Duct Cancer. 

I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. It’s been soul crushing, terrifying, and the emotional toll is bordering extreme. 

To add insult to injury, the unaffordable bills started to come in. Hubby has had to take many unpaid days off work to come with me to appointments and procedures. And I was denied (my first attempt at) disability. 

As my first treatment of chemo looms over my head tomorrow, I realize for the first time, we need help and I don’t have an answer. I hate asking for help but this is me praying for a miracle. If you are able to aid us in anyway, I can’t even begin to express my level of gratitude and appreciation for you. 

The road ahead will be rough but with friends and family, I’ll get through this! I thank you all for reading and for all your thoughts and prayers now and in the future!
