Melanie's necessary bills and memorial services expenses

Melanie was thankful and aware of your support and wanted to write her own personalized notes to you so the thank you note process was postponed and she didn’t get strong enough to write them, so the family would like to thank you all now. They truly appreciate all of you.
We are back in Austin today. Some residual pancreatitis has reared its ugly head. They have already taken Melanie back to replace some drains and clean out some pockets. Please know that your prayers and support have really been so helpful for our family. This is only a minor bump in the road , we hope to have her back home really soon. They are already moving her from ICU to a regular room as soon as a bed becomes available. ❤️ Melanie’s birthday is Monday so we are hoping she is at least comfortable then. It’s been a whirlwind of two steps forward and one step back, but overall there’s been progress. Please continue your prayers and donations, as it’s been a lot longer process than what was originally planned and there’s still a long way to go.
Friends and family, Melanie Lowry needs our help. First and foremost, continue those prayers, as we are hopeful for a recovery so she may enjoy many more years of life. To us, she has been a dear friend (or family member) while known as a fantastic single mother, former coach, employee and community member.
At this time, Melanie is stuck in a hospital completely unable to work or provide for herself or her two boys. Due to the severity of her condition she has also been transferred to Austin so she is even further away from her home and family, but this emergency move allowed her to be in the hands of superior specialists at their ICU while she's fighting to simply breathe on her own. She's been hospitalized for over a week now and it is estimated she has five more weeks to wait before they can do pancreatic surgery if all else is going according to her doctor's plan. If that surgery goes well, there's another two weeks recovery in the hospital after that before she can go home for an additional 6 to 8 weeks MINIMUM of recovery before thinking of returning to work.
I realize you cannot pick up her medical bills or her mortgage or electric bill, but collectively if we could all help assure at least her home and required bills are handled for these months we would positively impact her life forever. And we want that life to be a LONG forever! If you are able, could you please donate directly to Melanie's necessary bills fund or take a moment to share this link with someone who may be in a better position to help financially. Thank you greatly and keep praying!
