Melanin Seeds
Melanin Seeds is a black owned company dedicated in creating inclusive products for Afrocentric children in the Netherlands. We create inclusive coloring books and puzzles for children between 2-12 years old.
Based on our research, inclusiveness allows Afrocentric children to build and maintain their selfesteem as it allows them to see positive representations of themselves. This also reduces their chances of developing an identity crisis as teenagers and youngadults.
Melanin Seeds is co-founded by Solange Henry and Naggenia Castro, both mothers of Afrocentric children. We recognize the importance of inclusivity in our children's direct surroundings and want to make a difference by planting the right seeds at a young age.
We unfortunatly do not have the financial means to fully cover the cost of this project. If you believe in the importance of inclusivity and diversity, we are asking for your support to make this project a reality.
Your financial contribution will be used to start up and purchase the necessary materials.
Thank you in advanced for your financial contribution and interest in our project.
