melanoma sucks!

I was diagnosed with melanoma last month and was told I'd have to have surgery to clean out tissues around the area and it be skin grafted......before surgery I have to have several tests run as well....i don't like having to ask for help but the amount they need to do the surgery is ridiculous....if you're able to help any at all it would be much appreciated!
