Melany Texeira

We are fundraising to help Melany Texeira’s family. On the morning of December 21, 2022, the Texeira family experienced a great loss. Melany was only 44. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a coworker, a friend, and much more. She passed away unexpectedly from a fatal gunshot wound at her home. This has been a very traumatic experience for the family and those that know her.

Melany has been a nurse for over 20 years and worked in the ICU at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She was known as the peacekeeper at work, and was regarded as being very kind and helpful. Aside from being a valued coworker, all those that knew her knew how much Melany loved her family. She supported her parents financially and emotionally. The house that her family lives in is under Melany’s name. She made sure her family was well by checking on them daily, especially her mom and dad, Yoly and Boy by providing emotional support and ensuring their happiness and healthfulness. . She supported her sister, Lannie, by babysitting when she could and took her niece and nephews, Brendan, Noah, and Athena, to restaurants and various activities. She also continued giving financial support to her brother, Al, for school. She was a giver, filled with love and laughter, and was a role model to many.

The family needs emotional and financial help, and with heavy hearts, we are reaching out to all of you to assist. Anything and everything you assist with will be greatly appreciated, though the family would especially appreciate monetary gifts. This will help to offset funeral expenses, continue the mortgage payments on the house, and pay for grief counseling and allow the family time to be together to grieve.
