COVID Charity Food Truck by DDs Kitchen
Donation protected
Melbourne Indian chef Daman Shirvastav has been supporting the needy from his own pocket for over 10 years., cooking meals weekly from his home.
Now in lockdown he has been inspired to create a cooking show called DDs Kitchen alongside his 8 year old daughter, Diya to inspire kids and families in lockdown to cook and also to teach his daughter about helping those in need.
The food from the cooking show is shipped by this daddy and daughter duo three times a week from their home to help Melbourne's forgotten international students and the homeless during this Melbourne in COVID lockdown.
DD's Kitchen has now become a social enterprise and needs your help to do the following:
- Hire a commercial kitchen to prep food
- Buy $500 worth food a week to feed 100-200 per week - for a year
- Pay for registration, insurance and set up fees
We hope that a little further down the track we can hire or buy a food truck also!
With international students and homeless people finding themselves in very dire circumstances in a lockdown Melbourne, Daman has become a beacon of hope for a lot of these people and hopes with your help to feed even more!
Thank you :)
