Hi everyone my name is Lena peterson and I am trying to help my coach and his family.

He had a TBI which caused his heart to stop

They did CPR and got his heart beat back then went to the ER

They air lifted him to McKennen hospital in Sioux Falls

They put a central line in to start a cooling machine which drops his temp down to let his body rest

After 24 hrs they started to warm him up and take away the medically induced coma

I thought it was progress when I would say his name and his eyes would open .....but it was involuntary

He has been having seizures since they warmed him up

Today the brain test didn't give any indication of function and CT scan was negative.

Tomorrow he will have a MRI to see if any part of his brain is working

He loved being a coach and making an impact on his basketball girls lives.

We are requesting help with medical bills and support for his family.
