A GoFundMe campaign has been setup to support the family of Melina Lopez, who was a victim in a murder-suicide at a Memorial Drive Dunkin' Donuts on on Friday, Feb. 15.
The Argentina-born Lopez, 23, was a manager at the doughnut chain location when, as reported, the father of her daughters committed the violent acts inside the store.
Lopez was raising her family in addition to working tirelessly for the past four years, for a chance to finally receive her citizenship papers. She was the true definition of the American Dream.
She leaves her parents behind two daughters: Melanie, 6 and Cindy, 3. Lopez is also survived by three younger siblings. All donations via GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/melina-lopezLives) will be directed to supporting the children.
