Melissa and God vs Cancer

My name is Melissa, but most people call me Mell. I was just diagnosed with stage 2 uterine cancer. (At least) It's already spread to my cervix. They won't know if it's spread upwards, or anywhere else until they can do a CT scan and get in there to do the surgery. I will be having a radical hysterectomy. I will be traveling to Lubbock for all procedures. We need funds for gas, hotel and food for my sister. I will have to board my dog. My mom isn't well enough to take care of her. We'll have to hire someone to come in to check on my mom as well. The doctor has no idea if I will have to have chemo or radiation after the surgery. If I do that will be even more trips away. I'm so tired and I need your prayers more than ever. I hate more than anything to ask for money. That's why I've put it off this long. But my Dr. is going to try to get me in to see the surgeon in a week. If you can't afford to donate, your prayers are enough. For those who do...thank you so much. Love you all. Mell
