Dudley Homestead fire
On Sunday, March 26th, the Dudley residence burnt to the ground. Fortunately, my daughter Melissa and husband Jason were at church with the children when Jason’s sergeant called to tell him the terrible news. Words cannot express how thankful I am that they are all fine and grateful for the emergency response teams. The hardship that they face is indescribable. Melissa and Jason are newlyweds residing in middle Tennessee. They have eight beautiful children ages 18 to 7 years old, with the oldest in the 82 airborne. They have built a beautiful family and blossoming homestead and their faith guides them. Their beloved pets and a few dairy goats were taken by the fire, sadly. Melissa lost her medical service dog in training, “Grunt”, he had such a bright future after being rescued. They not only lost their home but a large portion of their homestead infrastructure and greenhouses.
They truly will be rebuilding from the ground up. This gofundme account is to help them begin to rebuild their lives and secure safety for their children. I want to thank you for opening your heart to my daughter and her family during this hardship. Thank you to the generous people that have already provided their skills, clothing donations, money, and prayers.
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastical 4:12
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.
