Melissa Barone Memorial Fund

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Melissa Jean Barone,(37) of Parkersburg, WV, on 10/11/2019, following a tragic motorcycle accident.
Melissa was an outstanding mother, devoted wife, sibling, daughter, loving Sister/Daughter-in-law, and loyal friend to many. Her warm smile, kind spirit, and infectious laughter would fill a room. She was a one-of-a-kind gift, a true solid rock to all of those lucky enough to have known her.
Melissa was a graduate of WVU with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She used her degree by becoming a much loved Care Coordinator and Director of Social Services at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg. Other than being a mother Melissa was most proud of being an original member of Shadow Riders of America.
She is immediately survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 18 years, Jason Aaron Barone; son, Aaron Joseph Barone and daughter, Abbigale Nicole Barone.
We are seeking assistance from our community, friends, and family to help with the expenses and to give support to the future needs of her family as they navigate the difficult road ahead.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in our time of need. We're touched by the generosity of any donation, thought, prayer or message.
